How Printed Shadenet Solutions handles the personal information you send us, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Who we are
Printed Shadenet Solutions ("PSS", "we", "us") is a printing business based at Unit 10, Celie Industrial Park, 4 Celie Road, Retreat, Cape Town, South Africa. What we collect
We only collect what you choose to send us:
- Through the quote form — your name, email address, and optionally your company, phone number, quantity, size and any message you write.
- Through WhatsApp, phone or email — whatever you send us directly, including artwork files.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not set cookies for advertising or profiling.
Why we use it
To prepare and send your quote, to answer your question, and to carry out the printing work if you place an order. That's it. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Who processes it for us
- Formspree delivers quote-form submissions to our inbox.
- Vercel hosts this website and records anonymous, aggregated visit statistics. No cookies, and no data that identifies you personally.
- Google Fonts and Google Maps serve the site's typefaces and the map on our contact page. Loading them shares your IP address with Google.
- ImageKit serves the photographs in our gallery.
These providers may process data outside South Africa. We only use providers that offer protection comparable to POPIA's requirements.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for follow-up and record-keeping — normally no more than three years from your last contact with us. Records tied to an actual order are kept longer where tax and company law require it.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to us using it. Email marketing@shadesolutions.co.za and we will respond. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date below. This version is current as of 28 July 2026.
