Our process
How printed shadenet is made
Four stages take your logo from an artwork file to a branded fence that still looks sharp five years later. Here's what actually happens at each one, and why the ink matters more than anything else.
Step 01
Your logo comes in
You send us your logo — vector artwork gets the sharpest result — along with the dimensions and quantity you need. Bold, flat logos with solid colour print best on shadenet; we'll flag anything in your artwork that's likely to lose detail at print size before we start.
If you're not sure what you have, send it anyway. Our artwork & installation guide covers the file formats that work and the ones that don't.
Step 02
We screen-print it onto HDPE shadenet
Your design is screen-printed directly onto 80% HDPE shadenet using an ink we developed ourselves, specifically for this material. Rather than sitting on the surface the way a generic ink would, it bonds with the shadenet itself — that's the main reason the print doesn't crack, peel or fade the way cheaper printed mesh does.
Step 03
It's finished for installation
Every roll gets sewn-in eyelets every metre along the top and bottom edge. That spacing is what makes hanging a 50m run of branded fence fast, whether you're doing it yourself or handing it to a contractor.
Step 04
It goes to work outdoors
Once it's up, the UV-stabilised ink is what does the remaining work — holding its colour and legibility through direct sun, wind and rain for 5+ years, not just for a season.
